Veterans Memorial Park previously known as Park St. Park is now home to the community’s first and only World War II Memorial.  This park honors citizens of the Chillicothe-Ross County area who served in the world’s greatest conflict.  Construction was completed in the summer of 2004.  Chillicothe Veterans’ Memorials, Inc. raised approximately $80,000 to support the bulk of construction.
